The Sociological Group "Rating" is one of the largest non-governmental and independent research institutions in Ukraine, which specializes in conducting all types of sociological research in compliance with international standards approved by ESOMAR and WAPOR codes.
Description

The Rating Research Agency has more than 14 years of experience in conducting sociological surveys at the regional and national levels in Ukraine and abroad, and is a permanent member of the Sociological Association of Ukraine.Each year, the Rating Group conducts from 300,000 to 500,000 interviews and up to 200 focus group interviews.

Agency capabilities:

  • Face-to-face surveys (CAPI). The network of interviewers includes more than 500 people throughout Ukraine, who use 450 Android tablets with proprietary EPOLL data collection software;
  • Telephone interviews (CATI). The ability to conduct up to 1000 interviews per day by our own call center, whose operators work simultaneously on 200 telephone lines for CATI surveys;
  • Internet surveys (CAWI). The possibility of surveys in messengers using a chatbot or the possibility of quantitative surveys of a panel of respondents;
  • Quantitative research by combined methods (CATI and CAWI);
  • Focus group interviews;
  • Expert and in-depth interviews.

Against the backdrop of massive Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, the Rating Group conducted a survey to investigate the awareness, assessments and plans of Ukrainians regarding energy consumption. The results showed a high level of public awareness and readiness for rational energy use.
  2. Study of Ukrainians’ attitudes towards BRICS. The study revealed ambiguous attitudes toward this international organization, in which Russia participates. The majority of Ukrainians are skeptical about the prospects of BRICS and do not support the idea of Ukraine joining this association.
  3. Poll on readiness to fight for Ukraine. Sociologists have found that the vast majority of citizens are ready to defend their country in a war. This figure has remained high throughout the conflict.
  4. Research on the perception of the COVID-19 threat. Together with Gallup International, the Rating Group conducted a large-scale survey to assess whether the fears about the pandemic were justified. The results showed that the majority of Ukrainians believe that the threat of coronavirus was exaggerated.
